Production Manager & Technical Director

Peter Emminger

In November 2005, Peter started Yellow Light Live. Previously, Peter had spent four successful years at Marlyn Productions, where he successfully managed over 100 shows. These shows spanned a wide range: music events with headline acts, broadcast events, IT-intensive projects and numerous special events. He worked with many major companies such as MTV Networks, Pfizer, Sanofi-Aventis, FedEx and Nextel. Clients demand the highest production quality and Peter has consistently worked through difficult situations to deliver a successful show.

Peter has been involved with a number of unique, high profile special events, including the launch of the Las Vegas Monorail. The event involved an outdoor VIP party where the audience was wowed by a low-altitude helicopter flyover and fireworks. With 22 locations throughout Las Vegas , three helicopters, and the control tower at Las Vegas McCarran International airport to coordinate, communication was a vital issue to the event. Peter worked with a local vendor and developed a system that allowed reliable communication between all parties.

Peter frequently takes on challenging shows, overseeing multi-site satellite shows and managing projects that need the most sophisticated IT and networking knowledge. Peter was the Technical Director on a project that revolved around three days of broadcasting from multiple uplink locations with over 60 downlink locations. Internet access and connectivity is becoming a critical part of many events, and through his IT and project management skills, Peter was able to seamlessly link three separate Puerto Rico hotels together into one network.

Peter began his career in production as a freelance theater electrician, while attending New York University . At NYU, Peter focused his studies on theatrical production and management, graduating in May 2001 from the Tisch School of the Arts, Department of Drama. Pete has worked on a number of productions in New York , including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Off-Broadway shows at The Public Theater and 7th on 6th Fashion Week.

Jeff Beck

Production Manager & Technical Director

Jeff Beck

Having been in the event industry since the age of 18, Jeff Beck has developed a strong and diverse technical background. Starting as a delivery driver for a local Las Vegas production company, Jeff quickly moved up the ranks to become a trusted and well rounded technical director. A true "Jack of all trades," Jeff has always worked to understand how everything on a show site works, from equipment to client relations to creative messaging. Should a challenge arise in any component of his shows, Jeff is the first to jump in and find the solution.

Jeff has been very busy in his 10 years onsite, working with clients such as Pepsi, AT&T, Bridgestone, Firestone and many others. Jeff's commitment to a flawless production is matched by his love of a good game of poker, making the Pokerbowl at the Palms Hotel and Casino a treat to manage. Along with the usual vendor and crew coordination, Jeff had to ensure strict Nevada Gaming Commission regulations were adhered to. Such experiences are all a part of an event and Jeff isnt one to sleep until each piece of the show is seamlessly integrated into one cohesive and flawless whole.
